Dr. Chris Hartig was raised by a Vietnam Veteran Marine who taught him that “you must put in the work to get the results,” and a mother who gave him the values to “do the right thing, especially when it seems like a hard choice.” He is ready to put in the work as the Democratic candidate for Indiana House Representative, District 29 (Noblesville and part of Fishers). Dr. Hartig worked 15 years in the mortgage and finance industry and spent the last decade as a Management and Leadership professor at WGU Indiana, supporting working Hoosiers to upskill to earn training and certifications to improve their lives. He earned a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University, an MBA in Management and Strategy from Western Governors University, and a BA in Economics from Ball State University. His legislative priorities are to serve as a guardrail against the unchecked extreme supermajority, protect personal freedoms, and support public schools.
