I am a former US Army Reservist who served as a behavioral science specialists with the 55th Medical Detachment and also as an intelligence analyst with the 21st Support Command.  I worked at Hudson Institute, a public policy research organization, as a researcher on their international economic and trade policy studies. We advised government agencies, lawmakers, and business executives on policy and economic development issues.  I am also a community activist who has served in leadership positions on numerous boards including Hooverwood Living and my homeowners association; advocated for students as a parent representative on several Carmel Clay School committees involving curriculum development and text book selection; and mentored children navigating the hardships of foster care.  My interest in personal and corporate finance arises from my responsibility as a Trustee overseeing a complicated Trust.  Over the years, I have cherished my time raising my three children and being a grandmother of five grandchildren.
